MISSION STATEMENT AND STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

D.O.P.E. is a non-profit 501c3 organization founded about five years ago with a continual goal of providing resources and aid to the community and those who are less fortunate. About history of DOPE and Jai

Jai is the Founder/CEO of D.O.P. E. and she believes in providing Empowerment, Information and Resources for our Communities. Jai has been a
Minister for the past 5 years preaching The Gospel. Jai began working with her church's outreach to feed
the homeless at the tender age of 8, she later began working in local Shelter as a Case Manager for
individuals who are in Recovery, Low income, AIDS/HIV, Mental Health and Disabled.
Through THE Organization she has fed over 26,000 Homeless individuals over the last 4 years and
provided numerous City-wide trainings (CPR/First Aid, Suicide Awareness/Prevention, Narcan, Serve
Safe and Mental Health/First Aid).

Volunteer need to RVSP on a weekly or Biweekly schedule via volunteer sign up site www.signupgenius.com
We need to indicate that ALL Volunteers will need clearances also to complete training

Statement of Purpose:

We represent a team. A team that addresses whatever plagues the community.

If the plague is homelessness, we address it. If the plague is mental health disease, we address it. If the plague is poverty, we address it. If the plague is social inequality, we address it. If we cannot agree to address every part of any plague, we cannot represent this team.

This team serves as advocates. This team serves as voices. This team serves as help. This team serves as resources. This team serves the community. This team...serves. If we are not willing to serve the community against what plagues it, then we are not a good fit for this team.
